CCM Universalization

The slow pace of universalization of the convention remains a serious concern. With 110 States Parties (as of Oct 2020) we are far behind the goal of the Dubrovnik Action Plan (DAP) of 130 States Parties by the Second Review Conference.

As such, universalization of the convention is one of the main priorities for the CMC. We call on all signatories to ratify the convention without further delay, and for states not party to join the convention as soon as possible.

See our campaign action graphics for signatory ratification:

Angola, Central African Republic, Cyprus, Djibouti, Democratic Republic of Congo, Haiti,Indonesia, Jamaica, Kenya, Liberia, Nigeria, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania
