By signing this petition I call on governments to:
- Support a ban on cluster bombs with no exceptions, no delays and no loopholes and to take part in the ‘Oslo Process’ to negotiate and adopt an international treaty to ban the use, production, stockpiling and transfer of cluster bombs by the end of 2008.
- Renounce cluster bombs by signing and ratifying the treaty in Oslo on 2-3 December 2008
- Mobilise the necessary means to assist communities affected by cluster bombs including the clearance of contaminated land and by providing assistance to victims.
